Canada and the U.S. > The American South

It is not often that you see this scene in lush colors. It was drizzling and overcast all week, and then clear the day we visited Momument Valley. The rain intensified the colors of the sands and made the vegetation jump to life with beautiful greens. When I returned the following year, the scene was bland, dry and dusty with no life and no reason to take a photograph. The panorama format is perfect for this scene, taken with a Hasselblad Xpan camera.
